The rug is of decent quality construction but not anything luxurious or extremely well made in my experience. The tufting is not very tight and there are a few loose threads here and there in the light pattern loops. The texture if not of high quality wool but is soft enough for a Chicago living room. The issue, as mentioned in other reviews, is the color which is a blue/dark gray color with a more creamy beige pattern running thru it. The color is nothing like the photos on line but turns out to be PERFECT to coordinate with my sofa. I not only am I keeping the 2x3 "tester" rug but ordered the 9x12. It's definitely not a precious rug but the pattern is enlivening and for the price and how it meshes with my sofa fabric, it's a winner.

very pretty, heavy/thick, and well made but color was much darker than picture. It reads much more denim/dark blue than light
