Nicer in person. The shag is soft but not thick and you can vacuum it without the brush locking up.

This is not a high quality rug. It's soft right now I think because it's new and fluffy, but the individual rug fibers are very sparce and I don't imagine it will last. The backing also feels very plasticky and hard, so even though it's a soft fluffy rug, you can feel the hardness underneath. I bought it on sale for 75% off. If I had paid full price, I would have returned it.

I bought this rug for my son's room - its so soft, great for playing on the floor. Very happy with quality.
