Pretty and soft to the touch however I was hoping the extra pile height would provide more cushion to help protect my baby when she falls. Instead, the rug feels just as thin as my other .30” pile height ones which is disappointing. The fibers were also coated in some kind of residue that would rub off for several weeks while first in use and leave your skin feeling somewhat sticky. Not ideal.
