The description said this has adhesive backing, but it does not. So the tread doesn't stick to the stairs, it slides all over. We purchased this planning to maker our stairs safer, but this was the opposite.

More slight variations (emphasis "slight") in size than we anticipated when trying to measure and place perfectly on our stairs, but overall very pleased with quality and color.

It is just what I needed for my steps,the only small problem was the delay on the delivery.

When we removed carpet from our stairs we discovered it had been hiding lovely oak. The risers were painted and the stairs needed only a small covering (mainly so our dogs would not slip on them). We chose these and have been very pleased with how they look and how durable they are. We used the stair tread set to secure them and have had no problems. Very pleased!
