I've gotten Waterhog mats from the bean store before and they are thick and last forever. I expected this to be the same but it's not. I don't know if I was shipped a 'second' or what? There is a large bump in the mat that just won't lay flat even after leaving something heavy on it for a few days. There is some sort of rectangle on the underside of the mat that doesn't have the same texture as the rest and feels like a thinner area so maybe that it what is causing the problem. I added photos of the are/problem, but for the price I wouldn't buy these, I wish I didn't. If it doesn't lay flat soon I will be returning this and not reordering....

Just what I was looking for. I've washed it once and looks just the same. Firm backing and a soft feel. My cat lays on it when the sun is shining in the storm door.

This rug is perfect for my purposes as an indoor mat. It is lovely to look at and feels great even with bare feet. Highly recommended.
