This rug arrived and is NOT the rug depicted. The main body of the rug is dark brown. The border is a pale blue. It is relatively thick and appears to be wool. Overall, I am disappointed and don't find this rug nearly as pretty as I had hoped. I decided to keep it because I need an area rug by Christmas.
