My fault for not checking on the material of the rug. The picture makes it appear like cotton but it's made from jute. I probably wouldn't have ordered had I known that, but now that I received the rug and see it works as I wanted, I'll keep it. The colors aren't as vibrant in person as depicted in the picture, either. Definitely measure your space so you get the sizing right. The smallest size is definitely small but it is exactly what I wanted for the space I have.
