The rug is beautiful, the color is more pink in natural light than purple as pictured. My only real problem is the rug is 3” short on the 8’ length and I really needed those 3”. I wish the rug was true to size as I have a 100 year old house with original pine floors and I need to cover the footprint of the original rug
