This area rug is very pretty. It looks purple in the picture but it is actually fushia.

Really pretty in person. Its worth noting that the fuchsia leans more towards pink than purple. This was purchased for a young girls bedroom with light gray furniture and bedframe and looks great with a perfect pop of color and design.

This carpet is completely misrepresented in the specification section. The carpet is not wool. It is entirely synthetic--it seems thin enough to be classified as an outdoor carpet. I did not remove it from it's heavy plastic shipping wrap -- I am returning it.
