Well, it looks like an antique rug, but in reality it is a large, printed, heavy plastic floor covering. My security camera's infrared lighting shows a shiny plastic "tarp" (it is airing out in my garage). In that light, no design shows at all. If that's OK with you, you'll be happy. But it's NOT a rug made with fabric as one thinks of rugs. It is Floor Covering. Probably great for public, high traffic areas. Not the kind of floor decor I want for in my home. It's inexpensive enough to place on a covered outdoor patio or maybe a business with foot traffic. I will go to a rug store to buy for the interior of my home so that I can see and feel the product first
