It's definitely NOT as bright as the online photos, unfortunately. I've also spent a month so far trying to stretch and weight this thing down so it'll lay flat/ without the ripples where it was folded ...yet they persist. I still like it a lot though. (I looked at literally thousands of carpets before seeing this one & ordering immediately.) It seems solidly made & feels nice with socks on & with bare feet.
