This rug is beautiful. I ordered a round one (and pad) for my study. The colors are subtle and the feel is cushy. It appears just like the online photos. The edges lie flush with the floor, not curled up at all. However two of the creases resulting from being rolled up tightly in a warehouse for who knows how long were deep and very obvious. They appear as arc shaped ridges across the rug from one edge to the other in two areas. I tried steam ironing on the reverse side, using a pressing cloth, but that was no use. I let the rug sit overnight and the next day hoping it might relax, but no luck. Two days later, again using a pressing cloth, I hesitantly used a steam iron again, this time on the top of the rug on the creases, using light strokes, with some improvement. I did the same the next day with a little better effect, but it still doesnt lie completely flat and retains some creasing. In addition there is rippling in two other areas that flatten when walking on them but then reappear. So disappointed! I hope the rug will truly relax over time, but I have my doubts at this point. I will try the steam ironing routine again over a few days but Im not hopeful. Maybe the rectangular rugs dont show these ridges from rolled storage quite as badly.
