The rug is impressively well made and constructed. It is also not thin as many rugs are when made from this product. It also, because of its plushness, not scratchy to the bare foot. The black trim has the width that helps it define itself in the space of the room. If it is part of an area with any darker or black accents, such as pillows, this rug will definitely pull the entire room or section ‘together’. I am SO pleased with this rug - and very grateful it is affordable. I have looked for a year in stores to find JUST THIS kind of rug - with NO luck. And then happily - finally -found this gem on Wayfair!!! PS The cat loves it, too!
