This is exactly what I needed for under my area rugs. All my rugs sit on hardwood floors so a pad is necessary to keep them in place. Using this rug pad gives my (thin) needlepoint and less than shaggy bedroom rug just the right amount of cushioning and prevents my rugs from bunching. The thickness is good. It was slightly too large around the edges so I trimmed it. I cut the pad slightly smaller than my area rug which makes sense because you don’t want the edges of the rug pad to peek out from under the rug . It was very easy to cut. It came folded not rolled. There was no smell when it was unpacked/unfolded. It is much better than the cheaper, rubbery pad I previously purchased. Heavier than I anticipated and big enough to use under 2 area rugs so additional pictures will be added once furniture can be moved so pad can be laid. I highly recommend it.

I haven’t put my rug pad down yet, put already know I’ll love it. I have this same pad in another room. It’s nice and thick and very cushiony. It doesn’t slide around and the size is easy to adjust if your rug is slightly smaller.

Great non-slip rug pad, i used it under my living room rug and it change the way my rug feels, it gave it some thickness. The shipping and the packaging was neat and on time. The pice is reasonable. Highly recommend

Works fantastic for a thinner rug that was constantly slipping and bunching on the hardwood floors… especially with three large dogs zooming around. It is easy enough to trim to size if not exactly the same as your rug. Pleased for sure!

I really want to like this rug pad. The brand I usually use is no longer available, so I gave this one a try. The cushion is great, and the grip is fantastic. But the stupid thing will not flatten out. If your rug is lighter weight like mine is, I'm not sure this is going to work. Unfortunately I don't have enough heavy books to cover an entire 8x10 rug pad to see if that helps. I'll update if it flattens out over time, but I'm not super optimistic at this point.

Thick padding. I purchased a 9x6 rug a while ago but it still had the older 6x4 pad under it. I have yet to place it under the rug because I need to move my couch. Initially, it seems that it will work just fine.
