This rug mat works as intended. It is thin but also clings to the floor well in order to keep the rug from moving around underneath. For an inexpensive area rug this will definitely work and give you good bang for the buck.

I am happy with this purchase. I think the price was better than I found at other places I shop. The color is white, but I don't think the color matters much. The anti slip material works great. I will buy it again.

Worked absolutely perfectly on my hardwood floors. I used stickers before but they are still stuck on the floor and lost their grip. (BUMMER). But this mat was easy to cut, no glue needed, it just clings to the floor and now my rugs do not move. Perfect fix for years of sliding rugs.

Finally a rug pad that works! I got a very large one for my large area rug in the living room. It shifts a few inches when my dog has the zoomies while she’s playing or when people get up from furniture. Taking it out of the package I could feel that this mat feels “gripier”. It says it’s silicone which so far seems more effective than the other foam kind that look like this My area rug is firmly in place now. This is working really well.

I actually chose this item to go underneath a foam couch. The kind that inflate right out of the box. Since the couch does not have any tread on the bottom, it works to keep it from moving on my laminate floor. It was easy to customize/cut because it was bit wider than the couch. My only complaint is that it's much thinner than expected, so we left ot folded in half. But it's definitely serving a purpose it wasn't necessarily meant for, so we're happy!
