Worked better than expected, initially I thought it would be too thin but it was affordable which was the driving factor in purchase. It’s enough padding and does not allow the rug to slip. Better than expected.

This pad is a generous size and laid nicely, allowing the rug to do the same. A quick cut on 2 sides hid the smooth laying pad. It did stink like plastic when first removing it from the bag. I unfolded it a bit and hung it in an enclosed porch for a few days. When I put it down, I could no longer smell it.

It does the job. Rug doesnt move. No cushioning added, though.
