Beautiful rug and reversible since it's flatweave. Looks just like jute but our cat won't be attracted to it as a scratching post because it's not. It's got a few small crimps in the edge here and there from shipping but they're disappearing. Great purchase! ... a year has passed now and I notice a lot of wear where my husband's feet rest when he's in his favorite chair. He wears slippers that have a shoe type sole but he never wears them outside the house. I've had to use scissors to trim the loose threads away but it's still noticeable. An item people walk on should be more durable than this. I'm downgrading my review based on this. The rest of the rug looks ok.

Beautiful. Love the thickness and color. Does tend to shead a lot. Hoping that calms down.
