Thinner than I like but very pretty

I went back and forth for days about buying this rug, (it was exactly the design and color I wanted) I read all the reviews and I went so far as to chat with a representative regarding the color, which is shown as a cream background and rust color design on the website, yet the written description is listed as "gray" and white. The ad shows a rust color leather pouf sitting on the rug which I actually own one of, and it would never match with a "gray" rug. I decided to go against my better judgement and order the rug (despite the rep just reading the description and confirming that it is gray) since I figured they wouldn't use an mismatched color for the ad. When the rug arrived, it was a completely different color! The design is actually a light brown color, NOT gray, NOT rust. It is also quite thin and not plush or comfortable to walk/sit/lay on. So, it doesn't match my decor and due to having to pay the return postage for an oversize/weight item, I am not going to return it and will have to eat the purchase . This is not the first time I have received sub par furnishings from Wayfair but I always hope they would be fair and have more accurate product color representations on their website so their customers are getting what they are PAYING for. Probably not going to order from Wayfair again.
