Exactly as described but be careful with the glue needed to make them stick as it can damage the wood tread.

These stair treads look great on my stairs! The only problem I had with them was removing the backing to the double sided tape. It took awhile to work out a system because the tape was stubborn, but when I did the rest of the process was easy.
