I had bought this rug a few years ago… and loved it… so when it came time to redo a. Bedroom next to it… I ordered the same rug. Unfortunately, I have had it since January and the chemical smell is still there. I returned the mattress pad thinking that was causing the odor..but it’s the rug. I was told by customer service that “in time the smell should go away”. I have put baking soda on it, vacuumed it, nothing seems to work. I am sorry I did not return it within the 30 days. However… the design is terrific. Lesson learned..

It’s perfect and adds warmth to my sons college room

Love this rug. It did shed for a while, but stopped after a few times vacuuming. I've had it about 2 years now and I would definitely buy it again.
