The rug is very pretty and durable, however it does not want to lay flat. One month later my corners are still curling up. Also with the rug pad it is too thick, more or a trip hazard.

It's a well-made, heavy-weight rug. Color is true to picture, and gives warm, organic look. The surface has a slightly rough texture, which gives more grips and stability. We layered it with a dual surface 1/3 rug pad, which altogether helps with reducing sounds of footsteps.
