Rectangle Tishon tressé à la main

I have always preferred jute and wool over other commonplace rug fabrics. Jute gives a room a natural feel and is relatively easy to clean. I got the rectangular shape to fit into my office. Like any natural fiber, it is going to shed a bit. Unfortunately, this one also came with small beetles and a lot of loose material. I had to vacuum it several times on both sides and anywhere I had previously dragged it when I unrolled it. The vaccum was full of loose fibers. It also has some small holes, but they are not that obvious at this stage of newness. I do like the pattern and its warm color. Ultimately, this particular quality of jute is better for outdoor use under a pagoda or covered porch.
