I just love love the look and thickness of this rug. HOWEVER, it is not suitable for pets (or probably kids). My dog was able to easily paw at it and the loops came undone. The very thing that makes this such a textured, cute rug (the loops that look like little popcorns, and the twisted parts) make it unsuitable for pets/high traffic areas. I'm still trying to find one I like as much that is sturdier.
