I am absolutely in awe of this stunning piece of artwork. I deeply admire these Persian village women who created this hand knotted area rug over one hundred and twenty years ago. There is so much history wrapped up in this small treasure of mine now. As an art historian and history major in university I feel I have made a wonderful discovery of art at its finest from the 20th century.

It was not what I expected. I will be returning this item.
