Tapis oriental doré / brique Torianno

Buyer be ware! I ordered a very large version in May. I received the very large pad in 2 days but, also, an email letting me know the rug was back ordered and would likely arrive the first week of Aug. I struggled with where to store the oversized pad and was also very anxious about whether the rug was actually available or if I was just waiting for another notice letting me know it was out of stock. I was very happy and relieved to receive an email in early Aug letting me know that it was on its way. It was delivered within a couple of days. Delivery team and prices were great. I was very disappointed to see how light and thin the actual rug is. It’s impossible to vacuum. It sticks right up into the vacuum. I went to the hardware store and bought serious carpet tape and spent hours attaching it to the pad (grateful that I chose a thick/heavy one). If I weren’t so desperate to get a rug down for entertaining deadlines, in would have returned. It feels soft now but I have serious concerns about the quality and durability. My other rugs are not expensive or fancy, (Some my husband brought back from deployments. The rest are from sales at big box stores.). I’ve never felt our seen one as thin and light as this.
