The beige reads slightly grey in certain lights but beautiful well crafted rug!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colors are more subtle in person, not a lot of contrast or distinction between the beige and taupe. It is very wiry like a burlap and sheds a lot for the first few weeks. We had to clean some stains on it and it’s nearly ruined it because you can’t really scrub it. Now I’m back in the market for another rug because this one is too high maintenance.

This neutral tone rustic wool rug is perfect for the bedroom and soft under foot. Its flowers (that my husband described as “bursts”)are more of a muted mauve color woven into hand spun natural grey tan taupe wools . This is a plus for vacuuming less often and hiding lent. I thought on this rug for a month and sooo glad I decided to go with it. My only regret I wished I went bigger as it’s true to size. There are some imperfections on the under side that may cause the fibers to unravel over time. For me the price was right and it works well for now. Highly recommend if want a light colored (but not white) medium weight neutral wool rug that adds lots of beautiful texture and hint of earthy taupe. I purchased rug pad but I don’t actually need it as the rug seems plenty heavy in the corners and my bed holds it in place on my oak hardwood floors
