The contrast between the design and the rest of the rug seems more noticeable in the picture than in person. I do like the color and pattern, but it seems like it will be very hard to keep clean. I should have read the description more closely. This rug indicates that it should not be vacuumed, which is unfortunate because everything seems attracted to it. I have two cats and removing their fur from it is going to be a challenge. It also measures a couple inches smaller than described. But, I like the color and it protects my dining room floor.
