Not as advertised: This area rug is completely misrepresented in more than one way on Wayfair's site: 1. The rug is advertised as "WOOL" material (in several areas of the listing), and there is absolutely NO mention of any other materials used (other than the backing), but the manufacturer's label states the rug is made from Wool AND VISCOSE, which explains the odd feel it has to it. I could tell right away that it wasn't pure wool. 2). the website product description also stated that the rug is "hand tufted" and "hand woven", but that is clearly false. I've owned a lot of wool area rugs throughout the course of my adult life, and this rug is clearly fully machine-produced. It's very obvious. False advertising. I wanted a 100% wool rug and I never would have purchased this had I know that wasn't the case. It looks much nicer on the website than it does in person. The photos on Wayfair's site do give the appearance of a pure wool rug, but you can tell in person that it's not 100% wool, as advertised. Two year update - the colors in the wool are fading in the higher traffic areas. Further proof of the poor quality.

Nice and plush! Does shed quite a bit the first few days.
