Love the look and feel of these stair tread mats but wish they didnt move around as much as they do. I bought these because my dog is aging and keeps sliding and slipping as she goes up and down the stairs. These carpet treads help her with her grip and are particularly helpful when it is raining. However, when our parents come over we remove them because they do slide around and I would hate for them to slip and fall. If this were a full time solution I would use double sided tape and tape them down. I do like the look and they are good quality mats.. Laura. MO. Mon Jun 01 2026
