Great piece but has more of a black look than an aged brass .

I loved this table when it arrived, however after only a couple of weeks I started noticing that the gold finish is rubbing off in places. and underneath its silver, so it's starting to look pretty bad. its not made of brass through and through , it only has what seems to be a super thin layer of gold finish on the outside. I mean this table doesn't have much wear and tear but these spots appeared quickly, just from putting a laptop or cups or books on it. Pretty disappointed in the quality .
