Very sleek with such unique lines! Metal is black (I was worried it was more gunmetal based on the pics). Shelves are smooth on one side and slightly ribbed on the other. It was slightly uneven which gave it a bit of a wobble, but adding a bit of furniture felt under one foot fixed the problem. Assembly is easy - just slide in the shelves. Packed carefully, so arrived undamaged. It's really expensive considering it's just metal and glass...but after I looked at A LOT of shelves for my plants and this ticked all the boxes - can't wait until all the vines wrap the metal :-)

Beautiful! Works great for my plants and fits my space great! The glass shelves have ridges on the bottom which gives it character. Love it in my sun room!
