This bench is striking & makes a quiet statement. Love the clean lines of the design & the ribbed cushion. Very versatile in use...I will most likely add a couple of baskets on the lower shelf for additional storage. A great find!

Very easy assembly on this bench. Very sturdy and holds 250 pounds. It took about 20 minutes to assemble. The seat is semi-firm but very comfortable. This bench could easily pass as an end-of-the-bed bench. We positioned it under a window to create a sitting area. We love the storage underneath — you could even put baskets on the shelf there to hold even more items.

Love love love this bench! This is the one I’ve been wanting and needed, it’s perfect for an entryway, mudroom, closet, or bedroom. It is not too wide but wide enough to hold large shoes and boots on the shelf below. The bench is solid, it has feet that slide easily and won’t scratch floors, but it is very sturdy and won’t move unintentionally. The bench color is more gray than black and compliments the black frame and shelf. The weight of the bench is substantial, it appears durable and I expect it will last for many years. Assembly was super easy and took only a few minutes. This is a great value and definitely a five star product. thank you Wayfair.

This upholstered storage bench is something we have wanted for a long time, so we can sit and take our shoes off or put them on. It’s a bench we plan to use regularly. Here’s the situation — right out of the box, this is not what we expected. Assembly is straightforward. There’s nothing complicated here. The padded top is comfortable, and the lower shelf works for shoes or handbags. My issue is with the finish and the condition of the product overall. It is brand new, but there are issues, which I will share in the photos below. Some of the slats were sliding out of the piece before assembly, and you can see the piece that holds the slats is already cracked, which raises concern about how it will last. The paint is already worn off in areas, and there is a place where it looks like tape was on it and peeled off lighter than the rest — there was no tape on this and I can not get that cleaned off. It does work visually in the space and serves its purpose, but the quality inconsistencies are hard to overlook. It’s functional, but I would have expected better condition and finish right out of the box for a new item, which is why I am taking off 2 stars.

This bench is perfect for my needs. It is lightweight and was easy to put together. It did have some minor scuffing on some of the pieces, but you really cannot tell once it’s all put together. I’m very happy with this bench!
