What a great bookcase! Excellent quality and easy to assemble. It looks fantastic in my home office and provides professionalism for a Zoom backdrop. It is heavy, due to the quality of the materials, but it's worth it!

This piece is perfect. The texture of the wood looks phenomenal and the instructions were very straightforward. It also feels very well constructed.

Box arrived with several gashes in it, however none went through packing. Took 2 hour for assembly. Top has dent/scratch which must happened during original packing. One pin leg was shorter than others so used felt stickers to compensate the difference.

This is my third purchase. This furniture will make you buy more! Not only is it solid wood all around but this is the easiest furniture I have ever put together! The drawers fit right in the first time, no adjustments needed. The back panel is also a thin wood unlike other brands that use material similar to cardboard. I also like the everything is screwed in to include tha back panel. Every furniture piece comes with extra screws just in case and Allen wrench although I have never needed any extra. The instructions are easy to follow and the assorted screws and assembly pieces are labeled well. This furniture is solid and also looks amazing no matter which style you choose!

I've been searching for some time for a new console for my office. I have size limitations that had made the search a bit challenging. When I first saw the Chase Low Bookcase, I was sold by the look of this bookshelf and crossed my fingers for the size. As luck would have it, it DID fit within my size limits! Most of what I'd found prior to this were either the look I was going for or the size I needed, but nothing was both the look and the size. Then I found the Chase Low Bookcase and it was both the right size and the right look. What a find! As for the bookcase itself, nothing is perfect, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me. Cons: 1) the drawer bottoms seem like they could be sturdier, but that's an easy fix IF it turns out I need something different in the future. 2) when I was unpackaging the pieces, some of the finishing seemed uneven or a little rough around the edges BUT as it turns out, none of the things I saw that raised an eyebrow are visible on the finished unit. The things I saw say that this is made by human intervention, and not just pumped off an assembly line, which makes me happy. 3) Some of the spots hardware needed to go are awkward to get to, but as a result, they're generally not visible once the unit is assembled, so it's worth it. Just give yourself some time to assemble it and know there might be an odd angle or two when inserting some hardware. PROS: There are almost too many to list, so I'll list the pros of this piece as compared to other furniture I've assembled in the past. I was genuinely pleased with the quality of the whole purchase, from the ease of the website, accuracy of shipping messages, delivery speed (even during our holiday season), the well done instruction manual, the orderliness of the extra hardware, the quality of the wood, the packaging to prevent damage... it was all thoughtfully done and of high quality. The price was great. The unit feels sturdy once assembled. The wood is beautiful and complements the design making for an attractive piece. I don't enjoy assembling furniture and am not great at it, but with their instructions, I was able to assemble it correctly the FIRST time! That's huge for me. Everything was well packed and great care taken to prevent damage in shipping. It was packaged in an orderly manner which helped me stay organized, and when combined with the thorough instructions... I never even considered walking away and begging someone else to finish assembling it for me! If I can assemble this piece, you can assemble it too! I chose to leave the back panel off the top half of the unit. My office is kind of dark and leaving the back panel off will keep some extra light in the room. So glad the panel comes in two pieces, allowing for the top to be used or not. Those details are so important! Thanks for thinking of them! Great purchase. 5 stars!
