Does what it says on the tin, but it looks like the pieces were painted by an angry robot. Two of the bolts were also freely floating around the mass of fragile styrofoam that made a mess everywhere...be careful when you are removing everything in case this is the norm. It's definitely an "antiqued" paint job...not very clean but it works as a basic piece of furniture. I wouldn't use this for a bunch of heavy/dense items, personally

Love this bookcase. I needed something that would hold large text books as well as a flatscreen TV. It was very easy to assemble and looks awesome in my office.
