there were a lot of parts. Instructions were very detailed, which is good, but you need to exercise patience and attendance. I am used to having parts which don't quite fit properly, but that was not the case here. It was very well engineered and all of the parts fit properly. it's sturdy and it looks good, better than the picture does credit. I would rate this product a DEFINITE BUY.

A little difficult to put together but over all a nice corner bookcase.

I don’t expect premium quality from Wayfair, but I’ve generally come to respect the company for offering inexpensive furniture that, while not built to last forever, is at least functional. This unit falls below even that standard. The front of each shelf is supported by a metal bar that runs across the width of the unit, but the back is supported only by a single screw driven about an inch into the narrow edge of particleboard. That’s an inherently weak design for anything expected to bear weight. I bought this piece to display my liquor collection, but I have serious doubts that it will safely support the load over time. I certainly wouldn’t trust it as a bookshelf. The shelf support design is inadequate for the purpose of, you know, holding things up for display.
