Very nice and unique in real, very heavy, I just think it’s hard to clean the stone!

I was told by the Wayfair representative when I placed the order that this piece will come assembled and will be inside the door delivery. Not true! It was delivered by FedEx and dropped on my front porch: the top in one box, the bottom in another. The top is extremely heavy. I have no idea how it ever qualified for a FedEx delivery. I barely got it through the door and I just had to leave it there because I couldn't move it any further by myself. Now about the piece itself... The top is real stone which is why it's so heavy, but it's painted a tacky dark gray, almost black color instead of being a finished, natural slate stone. A little bit of that paint chipped off during installation and now I'll have to find a marker to touch it up. The legs are a funky design which is what I liked about it, but one of the octagons has a peg sticking out of it that isn't touching any of the sides. It is not shown in the site pictures, so it must be a manufacturing defect. Bizzare. Finally, it's not very deep, so it's just an accent piece, for looks, not for any utility as a table top. I had to get two handymen to put it together. If you live alone, even if you are big and strong, you won't be able to assemble it by yourself.
