This is a tiny desk, if that's what one is looking for. A friend called it a barbie desk. I didn't realize from the measurements that it could really be this small. I'm looking for a corner desk for the living room of my one-bedroom apartment for an apple desktop computer with a large monitor with room for writing space. The desk is very lightweight, including the metal. The veneer/paint is so thin, it was scratched in the box and will rub off easily over time just from having things set on it. The corner of a board was a tiny bit smashed. This is all to be expected for the low price. I didn't think one of the full-size corner desks would fit next to the TV console, so tried this first. I didn't even assemble it after seeing the size of the desk top. I'm sending it back and ordering one of the nicer ones with the pre-assembled drawer/pull out keyboard shelf for 3x the price.
