I am not at all handy but that did not matter. This desk was fairly easy to put together and surprisingly sturdy. . The directions were clear and concise and the finished product looks really nice. The only recommendation is to consider not attaching the shelves to the desk before connecting the wooden top. It took several minutes to line the screws up with the holes from the bottom. I think it would have been easier if I could have flipped the desk over. But I could not when the shelves were already attached. May not work but it’s a thought.
