The legs are so sturdy and adjustable. I love the butterfly leaf. It’s textured to feel like rough wood. It’s a great table!

Delivery crew gets 5 stars! They communicated well and professionally, followed our requests and were willing to work with us. I’ve broken down my negatives and positives below. Negatives: my biggest negative is the holes for the hinges on the butterfly extension weren’t drilled perfectly even so the insert doesn’t line up straight when open which also means it doesn’t sit flush against the table when extended so there are slight gaps between the table sections when extended (adding pic soon if not present). Second negative: the spacers on the butterfly expander/leaf are super chintzy. Instructions say to “tighten completely” but when I did on the first one it split almost completely through so I loosened it and didn’t tighten the second one as much. Third negative: the L bracket that the butterfly extension is supposed to rest on when stowed away sat just too high and the table couldn’t close because the leaf was blocking it so I just left the L bracket off off and let the leaf rest on the base when stowed. Positives, Whole assembly process was straight forward and instructions were easy to follow. I love the metal base (we have puppies that chewed up our previous table and chair legs so this will work great for us), opening and closing mechanism is SUPER smooth and easy. One person (we have kids, adults, and elderly) can easily open and extend the table on their own which was a huge plus for me. Most tables this style -including our previous table- you have to have two people pulling against each other to get it open, flip out the leaf, then push against each other to close). Other: table top is ridged/grain textured-not smooth so wiping/cleaning will be interesting. I’ll try and remember to update my review in 6 months to let you know how it’s holding up.

I didn't even put this table together - the color was very different from the advertisement. I returned. Wayfair Customer Service was excellent - thank you Joselle - very patient and made the return process simple. Advice: always look at the reviewers posted photos, not the advertisement photos, to get a better idea of true color. I have definitely learned my lesson.

Great table! Sturdy and pretty easy to put together. Love that the extension piece tucks in the table rather than having to store it elsewhere. Wish the colours matched up though.

It assembles fairly easily, seems sturdy and the leaf tucks away nicely. However, the wood grain for the two halves and the grain on the leaf do not match up so it looks disjointed.
