I love this small space kitchen island. Having the outlet attached makes it easier to use my cooking appliances without having to move around my kitchen. The bottom shelves are used for storing my pots and pans. This very sturdy.

This turned out to be a better purchase than I had epected. I am 'elderly' and wanted something like this for the end of the peninsula in my kitchen area. It is wonderwful! I have shrunk so it is not easy for me to use the microwave on top of my stove -- the second (middle) shelf on this unit is perfect! I also appreciate having extra outlets as I now can use the upper (top) shelf as a buffet (complete with a heating unit because of the outlets) when I entertain. Wonderful addition to my kitchen area.
