Very nice bookcase for paperback sized books. Most hardback books would need to lay flat. Drawers are small but perfect for my small-sized guest room. I keep extra supplies for guests such as travel sized lotions, soap, toothpaste, etc. in the top drawers. Stationery, pens and pencils, crossword puzzles, etc. in the middle drawers. The larger bottom drawers I leave empty for guests to use as they wish. The quality is what I expected (very good) and the hand-painted drawers are very pretty. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is not looking for large storage furniture.
