This headboard bookcase bed is perfect for my son. He wanted a “moody” style bedroom and this bed fits! I ordered the 2 bedside tables and the piers that go on top. This is a sturdy bed and a beautiful color.

If you are wondering where the hardware is, it is strapped with a string to the bottom of the bookcase portion of the bed frame. We spent 30 minutes hunting until we gave up and called wayfair, who was totally useless with answering the question. It wasnt until we went to move the parts to a shed while we waited for hardware that we found it strapped to the bottom. As others have mentioned, the directions leave a lot to be desired. Luckily, my husband is an engineer, so we figured it out. The frame itself is solid and will withstand the weight of two twin xl adjustable frames (zero clearance models only) and 2 twin xl sapphire mattresses. Its a little high but tolerable. The drawers at the bottom arent quite aligned, and you need to really push hard to get them to go in the first time. Otherwise, its a great frame for an adjustable bed set up!
