The description of this dining set was brown. I assumed that it was a very dark brown but upon opening the boxes, it was in fact black. Not only that, but the product came to us damaged. The support beam for the table was broken off, and the legs were chipped and scratched. When I put in a request to have new parts sent, I was told that I should expect it in about a week. I’ve just received an update saying I won’t receive those parts for two months. This experience has been very disappointing.

The item is beautiful and it looks just like the picture. Easy to assemble, the instructions were clear. I just didn't like all the screwing and twisting I worked up a work out . However my table did arrive cracked underneath the bottom. I did still put it together, because I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it. The shipping was three days as quoted for my purchase, I was happy about that.

Couple things with this set 1. It's black not dark brown which I was fine with. 2 the table was really easy to put together took me less than 15 minutes to remove from box and put together. I wish the chairs were as easy and fast. Directions were easy to understand. All pieces looked great out of box. Overall happy with my purchase. I gave it 4 stars because the color stated is wrong.

I love the way they look. They seem sturdy, however, they make noise when you sit on them so I’m not sure if they are sturdy or not. It doesn’t matter if a large or small person, they squeak like wood under stress when someone sits down.

Nice table and chairs. Love the design. I had one side rail that had a crack on it but was able to get a replacement part for it thru the website.
