Fellow Wayfair shoppers, I initially submitted a "single star" review for this item. The low mark was due to the issues with shipping/receiving rather than the product itself. I am updating my review because since October Wayfair reps have contacted me and made every effort to understand the issue stemming from the product manufacturer / shipper. As for the chair, it's great. I use them almost every morning (breakfast) and evening (supper) in our café-style casual kitchen. The bar height chairs have comfortable cushioning in the seat and the backing. We are a petite family (5'3" - 5'6") and the footrest is perfectly placed. The "cherry" coloring is a bit off and closer to "walnut" having a brownish rather than reddish undertone. (I purchased them to compliment the cherry finish of the kitchen cabinetry.) Despite the off coloring, I am content with my purchase AND the level of service I received from the entire Wayfair team!
