This is a beautiful set! Came together relatively easily (took two people maybe a little over 2 hours). There are two little nicks out of the side bars on the chairs, but they’re under the seat and no one would notice them so I’m fine with it. Perfect size for my dining room!

Only complaint would be the screws were a bit too long and poke through the top of the table. Luckily we caught it in time.

The workmanship was not too good. The dining room set is very pretty and a good size for a small apartment. The chairs had some minor scrapes.

I just got this today. First let me say that it looks beautiful. I got the walnut and it is solid wood - no compressed junk. I can't wait to put it all together to see the finished product. But here comes the problem. You would think that putting together 4 chairs would be pretty simple. WRONG!! I am still working on the first chair. First, they have pre-drilled holes for the legs...great. Nope...the way they have them set up to use with the allen wrench is ridiculous. You cannot make a full turn for the screw. You can maybe get a half turn or more like a quarter turn before removing the allen wrench and repreating the process. Each screw takes forever to get tightened. Now I am at the part wher you attach the seat....Forget it!!! they don't have holes pre-drilled in the seat but they do have the in the side rails. But again they way they have the pre-drilled holes in the side rails make it impossible for you to use your power drill. You have to use a phillips screw driver and all your strength to turn the screw. I gave up. My hands are killing me. I will see if my husband has better luck. Whoever designed the chairs is a moron.
