I was looking for a dresser type to be used in a closet as an island. This piece is solid and made well. It comes fully assembled which was a nice surprise. I absolutely love it! The drawers open from with the front or the back. I didn't use the wheels since its in my closet. LOVE IT!!

The drawers and half the bottom of the cart are not wood. They are a composite material. This material seems to be heavier than wood making the knobs hard to stay on. While I have not used the cart, just by moving the drawers around, 2 knobs came off. The instructions say to tighten knobs every 6 to 8 weeks . I have knobs on my kitchen drawer that have not needed to be tightened in 7 years so this is a flaw. The wooden knobs should not be on a cart that originally cost over $2200. Nor should there be a piece of composite that lines half the bottom of the cart. Having said that, I bought the cart at half price so not really complaining about the price. I like the style and size enough that I am refinishing it to a color that compliments my kitchen color. I am also leaving off two of the pull out drawers and adding a shelf in its place so I don’t have to open and close the bottom drawers too often. It would have been nice if they were on glides. Once I refinish the cart, it should make a great island. I will be happy to send a photo once it’s completed.

The first one came in damaged but customer service was fantastic and replaced it quicker than anticipated. The island is great quality and absolutely beautiful!

It finally arrived. It is gorgeous. Love the height, love how it rolls, love that is already assembled. Great price, it took a little longer than it should have to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait.
