I ordered this for an AIRBNB - I ordered it in the black and off white. It looks really nice, but the slats under the mattress are not too thick...so I am not sure if it will be strong enough not to hold the mattress and hold a person. We shall see. Overall for now I give it 4 starts because of the slats.

I absolutely love this bed! I was able to put it together myself. It took a few hours because it is put together solidly. I remarked that this bed is going nowhere...it will be here forever. It is a very heavy solid wood, has over 200 screws in the mattress support base and is so beautiful. I still cannot get over the price vs quality ratio. You cannot go wrong with this bed. It is in my guest room but I should have put it in my room. ❤️
