Update on 2/26/26: The veneer finish, at the front of the desk, is wearing off, so a light color is now exposed. Reached out to the manufacture, quite a while ago, and never heard back. Two things to note about the drawers: They are shallow--approximately 1.25 inches deep, and they extend out only 8 inches. If that's not an issue for you, then I definitely recommend!

Stay clear! Everything at Wayfair is garbage!! Paid 859 for this and the stretcher is too short. Requested replacement parts and have the same issue. Asked for a complete replacement and still the same issue. Now we have to pack up and return 2 of them. I am 100 done with Wayfair!

The look is nice, but it did come with some slightly bent corners so that is always a negative. The desk itself is too short so I can't put my foot support balancer underneath it and really can barely lift my legs once under the desk, I am a tall person at 5'10". The drawers are narrow and could be deeper. They don't pull out the full depth of the drawer so you can miss things that are at the back of the drawer. Wood look and overall style is nice. I would like it to be a lighter walnut to match my wall shelving system. hard to match old veneer to new veneer wood.

It’s a beautiful, sturdy desk. Got it for my husband, and he loves the style. However, we’re not sure if this is real wood.

The desk is beautiful but not very functional. The drawers are very shallow and do not fit much at all. The desk also came with a dent in the top (not very noticeable) but a bit of a bummer given the price point.
