The chairs are defintely red, not braun. The stain job is deplorable. The seat has some white mark tuck all over the back side. You order in good faith you will receive a decent product, then your penalized by having to pay a lot in return shipping. Basically a waste of time and money!

The factory back of the chair leg was shorter than the other one. Making the chair unstable. Unfortunately we had a meeting the next morning and had to use the chair anyway. Unacceptable. Partial refund was given but that doesn't fix the issue. See photos

Bar stools are sturdy when sitting in them but a little wobbly otherwise. They work tho!

These are nice stools, but the corner of one of them was ripped when I pulled it out of the box and I still haven’t heard from Wayfair about a replacement.

Happy with my purchase on the counter height chairs. Finding this in a store was impossible, searched at least 8 furniture stores before throwing in the towel. For the price I cannot complain. The chairs are sturdy and more of a cherry wood color more than expresso. The seat pad was the only part that was an expresso color. I had no problem putting the chairs together.

The color is very cherry, rather than the brown you'd expect from espresso, however I did read that in reviews before purchasing. Half the hardware included required the Allen wrench (also included) but the brace bars needed a screw driver because the holes were not drilled in both pieces. It took effort and patience, but finally they came together. They are sturdy and look really great.
