My rolling office chair damaged my Brazilian cherry hardwood floors. So I knew it was time to buy a chair mat. My sister has an Anji Mountain chair mat and recommended the brand. I initially didn’t want to pay that much so I ordered a $30 mat from another retailer, which I returned. Compared to this Anji Mountain rug pad, the $30 gray and white mat was flimsy and arrived with many more creases from where it was folded. Plus, the color didn't work in my space. This Anji Mountain rug pad is folded once and quite sturdy. My chair easily rolls over it. My desk is visible from my dining and living rooms. I searched hard for a beige or cream rug pad that would complement the colors in my living room but couldn’t find anything that exactly matched my criteria. Wayfair customer service searched for me too and offered up several suggestions, including this one. This one is gray but the lighter stripes are greige, so it appears warmer. The pattern is geometric, modern, and sophisticated. It has a decidedly Japandi quality, which I find attractive.

We like this mat so much we’re ordering another one.

Love this mat! I have a medium to high plus carpet in my office and I love that this option works for all carpet heights and does not move around at all. It’s really solid, comes folded in half and you just flatten it and put it on the floor and it’s good to go! So far it works great under my office chair (can roll around and move perfectly).
